What you'll do

  • Build new features for the Carousell Android app with product managers and designers
  • Analyze and optimize the app's performance and reliability
  • Apply Android design principles so the app feels intuitive

  • Write clean, modular code with unit tests and take part in code reviews
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality

What you need

  • Experience developing Android applications in Kotlin
  • Strong computer science background with understanding of the Android framework, best practices and design patterns
  • Proven ability to ship stable, high-performance Android apps from start to finish
  • Ability to work with client engineers, backend engineers, design and product teams
  • Good sense of UX and design
  • Availability for a 6-month internship
