About this role

HARMAN Automotive builds connected in-vehicle technology such as infotainment and telematics systems. This internship is in Pune and is open to students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees, as well as those who have completed their studies and want short work experience. The intern works on embedded software across areas such as Embedded RTOS, Android, C++ and Linux. Tasks include static code analysis and unit testing with Google Test, along with development and troubleshooting on embedded targets. It suits computer science or electronics students with an interest in C/C++ and Linux.

What you'll do

  • Work on embedded software in areas such as Embedded RTOS, Android, C++ and Linux
  • Take part in static code analysis checks
  • Take part in unit testing using the Google Test framework
  • Work on software programs and development of software systems
  • Learn to test software using debuggers, emulators and simulators
  • Learn to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities

What you need

  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics, or a similar discipline
  • Knowledge of Embedded C/C++
  • Basic knowledge of SDLC and Agile
  • Working knowledge of the Linux platform
  • Hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Android basics desirable; preference for working from the office
  • Must complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
