Technical Support Engineer – Night Shift
About this role
AiDash provides a platform that helps electric utilities with vegetation, asset, storm and wildfire intelligence using satellite data. This night-shift support role keeps production systems healthy outside regular business hours. The engineer responds to alerts, triages incidents, investigates issues through logs and database queries, and handles customer-facing technical problems. Shifts are mostly 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM IST on a rotation with one other team member, in a hybrid setup from Gurgaon. It suits freshers with strong technical fundamentals or people with 1 to 2 years in support roles.

What you'll do
- Monitor application health and respond to production alerts during the shift
- Own incident management: identify, triage, resolve or escalate incidents
- Investigate issues using logs and database queries to find root causes
- Track tickets against SLA commitments and flag risks of breach
- Write clear responses to customers and internal stakeholders and join customer calls as needed
What you need
- Freshers with strong technical fundamentals, or 1-2 years in technical/production or L1/L2 support
- Comfortable with SQL
- Ability to read and troubleshoot API/backend logs and errors (HTTP status codes, request/response payloads)
- Working knowledge of Jira for ticket triage and technical updates
- Strong written and verbal communication, including direct customer calls
- Willingness to work mainly night shifts (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM IST) on rotation, hybrid from Gurgaon
