This full stack role builds scalable web applications with Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and Angular on the frontend at Citi in India. The developer works on end-to-end features, responsive user interfaces, microservices and REST APIs. The team works in an Agile setup alongside product managers, UI/UX designers and QA engineers. It suits developers with 2-4 years of professional full stack experience.

What you'll do
- Build responsive UI components with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS
- Develop and deploy microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement business logic, validation, exception handling and secure authentication
- Write and optimise SQL queries and use ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
- Write unit and integration tests for backend and frontend
- Take part in code reviews, CI/CD automation and Docker deployments
What you need
- 2 to 4 years of professional full stack development experience
- Strong Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and RxJS
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with automated testing, Git and Maven/Gradle/npm
