Java Fullstack Developer
About this role
This role is in Citi's Technology team in India, building and implementing new or revised application systems. The developer works in an agile Scrum setup, analyzing requirements, writing defect-free and secure code, and following DevOps practices such as automated builds, tests and scans. Day to day also includes peer code reviews, resolving production incidents and automating repetitive tasks. It suits developers with around two years of full stack experience in Java and Angular or React.

What you'll do
- Work in an agile Scrum environment, analyzing requirements and estimating work
- Design and develop code free from defects and vulnerabilities, addressing technical debt
- Peer review code and help the team perform well
- Apply DevOps practices: automated builds, unit/functional tests, static/dynamic scans, regression tests
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents at the root cause
- Automate repetitive tasks across the software development lifecycle
What you need
- 2+ years of professional full stack experience building enterprise-scale applications
- Web application experience with Java, Angular/React and Oracle/PostgreSQL
- Experience with RESTful APIs and Kafka messaging
- Experience with Elastic Search, NoSQL databases and caching
- Skills in performance optimization, troubleshooting, test driven development, and authentication, authorization and security
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
