About this role
Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, develops next-generation cockpit display software. This Hyderabad role (hybrid) works on ARINC 661 graphics libraries written in C++ and OpenGL/C, which provide the display system kernel, application interfaces and graphics rendering. The associate engineer designs, debugs, verifies and maintains this software as an independent contributor alongside experienced software and systems engineers. It suits early-career engineers with hands-on C/C++ and OpenGL experience who want to build aerospace software skills.

What you'll do
- Design, develop, debug, test, document and maintain cockpit display software
- Develop and enhance ARINC 661 graphics libraries using C++ and OpenGL/C
- Work on display system kernels, user-application interfaces and graphics rendering
- Debug using Visual Studio and other tools
- Work with VAPS design tools for cockpit display widgets
- Follow software configuration management and change-control processes
What you need
- 1+ years of experience in software development and verification
- Strong hands-on experience in C and C++
- Hands-on experience with OpenGL
- Good understanding of software development and verification activities
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Visual Studio or similar development and debugging tools
