About this role
nVent is a global provider of electrical connection and protection products. This graduate role in the web team supports development and configuration of Drupal-based websites under guidance. Day to day it covers defect analysis, enhancements, testing and documentation, along with work on REST API integrations, site performance and accessibility. The role also involves exploring small AI/ML proofs of concept for web use cases. It suits fresh engineering graduates with basic web and programming skills who want to learn Drupal and PHP.

What you'll do
- Support development and configuration of Drupal websites using Drupal/PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Assist with defect analysis, enhancements, unit testing, code reviews and documentation
- Use Git/GitHub, Jira Agile and CI/CD for releases to Acquia Cloud
- Help validate web integrations involving REST APIs, JSON/XML and search services
- Take part in functional, regression, accessibility and performance testing
- Build small AI proofs of concept using approved tools, following security and privacy standards
What you need
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or Electronics & Electrical Engineering
- Fresher level; foundation in at least one language such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java or C/C++
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, OOP, data structures, APIs and software testing
- Familiarity with Git, Agile and REST/JSON concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
