Junior DevOps Engineer

About this role

This is a full-time Junior DevOps Engineer role in Ahmedabad at Dash Technologies, supporting cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and AWS. Day to day, the engineer helps build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, supports deployments across dev, QA, UAT and production, and monitors cloud resources and logs. Work is done alongside senior DevOps engineers, developers and QA teams to make releases faster, more reliable and more secure. It suits freshers or early-career candidates with 0-2 years of experience who have solid fundamentals in at least one cloud platform and are willing to learn the other.

What you'll do

  • Help provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS
  • Create, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Support builds and deployments across development, QA, UAT and production
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker
  • Monitor cloud resources, application performance, logs and alerts, and troubleshoot failures
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and follow security, change and release management procedures

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, system administration or a related role
  • Basic knowledge of Azure and AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Git and GitHub
  • Basic Linux commands, networking concepts (DNS, IP, ports, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls) and Docker fundamentals
  • Basic YAML and Bash or PowerShell scripting
  • Good communication, teamwork, troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn
