Electrical Engineer – DataX & Testing
About this role
ETAP makes software for electrical systems, including a digital twin platform used across design, operation and maintenance. This Delhi role covers data exchange between ETAP and other engineering or GIS tools, plus software testing and validation. The engineer analyses customer data, maps it into ETAP, tests new features and releases, and works with R&D and development teams to fix integration problems. It suits an electrical engineer with 1-2 years of experience and a grounding in power system analysis.

What you'll do
- Run data exchange between ETAP and tools like EasyPower, SKM, PSS/E, DigSilent, CYMDIST, AutoCAD and AVEVA
- Work with data formats and standards such as CIM (IEC 61970)
- Analyse customer data, find quality issues and map it correctly into ETAP
- Write and run test cases and plans for functional, regression, integration and data validation testing
- Log and track defects and verify bug fixes
- Work with R&D and development teams on integration issues
What you need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1-2+ years of experience in a similar industry or equivalent
- Strong understanding of power system analysis
- Hands-on experience with ETAP or similar power system analysis software
- Knowledge of software testing, data validation, troubleshooting and defect management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
- Python, scripting or test automation knowledge is desirable
