About this role
First Advantage is a global HR technology company whose software, data and APIs power employment background screening, identity and verification services. This entry-level QA role sits in the Bangalore (virtual) team and focuses on testing web, mobile and API applications. Day to day, the engineer runs manual and automated tests, logs defects, and works with developers until they are fixed. What you'll do
- Execute manual and automated test cases to check functionality, usability, performance and reliability
- Review requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain test cases, test data and test documentation
- Log, track and retest defects while working with developers
- Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing across web, mobile and API applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts under senior QA engineers and report on testing progress and risks
What you need
- 1-2 years of experience in UI and API automation
- 2 years of experience in QA and Agile practices
- Familiarity with QA best practices and testing standards
