About this role
Fynd is a technology company that began in retail technology and now builds AI software that runs business operations such as manufacturing, marketing, logistics and quality control. This SDE-1 role sits in the machine learning team in Mumbai and focuses on deep learning with PyTorch. Day to day, you will train and evaluate models, write testable code for training and inference, and prepare data. You will also help deploy models, monitor them in production and improve them over time. The role suits engineers with around two years of ML experience who want production-grade work. What you'll do
- Develop, train and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models using PyTorch
- Work with software engineers and data teams to turn business problems into ML solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code for training, inference and experiments
- Prepare, validate and preprocess data for model development
- Support model deployment, monitoring and improvement in production
- Analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot issues and document experiments and findings
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning development
- Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch
- Proficiency in Python and production-grade software development
- Understanding of model training, validation and deployment workflows
