About this role
Glomo is a payment service provider regulated by IFSCA that runs a real-time cross-border payments network. The Infrastructure Engineer owns the platform that every payment runs on, built on GCP and Kubernetes. The work covers infrastructure as code, GKE clusters, PostgreSQL (AlloyDB) and Redis operations, disaster recovery, observability, CI/CD, security and cloud cost. It suits an engineer with 2-6 years of production infrastructure experience, preferably in payments or fintech.

What you'll do
- Design, build and operate GCP environments as infrastructure as code
- Operate GKE clusters, deploy pipelines, autoscaling and rollouts
- Operate PostgreSQL (AlloyDB) and Redis, including replication, backups, recovery and tuning
- Build and test disaster recovery and failover, and define SLOs, alerts and runbooks
- Own metrics, logs and traces, and improve CI/CD for frequent zero-downtime deploys
- Own network design, IAM and secrets, keep the platform PCI-DSS compliant and reduce cloud spend
What you need
- 2-6 years operating production systems, preferably in payments or fintech
- Hands-on GCP skills (GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL or AlloyDB, load balancing); deep AWS also counts
- Kubernetes in production, including Helm, autoscalers and safe rollouts
- PostgreSQL operations at scale
- Terraform or an equivalent infrastructure as code tool
- Scripting in Bash, Python, Go or Ruby, and CI/CD pipeline experience
