About this role
This role sits in HPE's engineering organisation in Bengaluru and is designated onsite. The team builds scalable data platforms and cloud-native solutions that feed analytics, data science and AI applications. Day to day, the engineer builds and maintains data pipelines, automates ingestion and processing, and keeps data reliable and fast. It involves working with other teams on data problems and trying out new technologies for the platform. It suits engineers with a couple of years of experience in data engineering or cloud development.

What you'll do
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud solutions
- Develop automated data ingestion, processing and optimisation workflows
- Ensure data quality, reliability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex data challenges
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve platform capabilities
What you need
- 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Development or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, ClickHouse, ArangoDB or similar technologies
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala
- Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, CI/CD and distributed systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
