About this role

This role sits in Intel's Data Center Group and is a design-for-test (DFT) position for semiconductor products, based in Bangalore. The engineer works on logic design, RTL coding and simulation, and helps define the architecture and microarchitecture of blocks under DFT design. What you'll do

  • Develop logic design, RTL code and DFT timing closure support for SCAN, MBIST and BSCAN test content
  • Collaborate on architecture and microarchitecture features for blocks and subsystems under DFT design
  • Create and optimize HVM content for bring-up and production ramp on automatic test equipment
  • Review verification plans, drive verification of DFT designs and resolve RTL test failures
  • Integrate DFT blocks into IP and SoCs and support SoC customers
  • Work with post-silicon and manufacturing teams on silicon debug, and drive high test coverage to meet DPM objectives

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience (internships, projects, coursework or training), or a Master's degree in a related field with no prior professional experience
  • Proficiency in RTL coding and simulation tools (e.g., SystemVerilog, VCS)
  • Foundational understanding of DFT methodologies such as SCAN, MBIST and BSCAN
