About this role

The Developer Productivity (DevX) team at Helpshift, part of Keywords Studios, builds the tools and infrastructure that help engineers build, test, deploy and release products. The SE I role in Pune is hybrid and covers CI/CD pipelines, release automation, developer tooling, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability and security checks. Day to day it involves scripting and automating repetitive work, troubleshooting pipeline and environment issues, and supporting incident resolution. It suits engineers with 2 to 5 years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE or software engineering.

What you'll do

  • Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and automate build and release activities
  • Develop scripts, CLI utilities and internal tools that simplify engineering workflows
  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation
  • Support containerised workloads and Kubernetes-based development and deployment environments
  • Maintain monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerts for DevX systems
  • Diagnose issues across CI/CD, infrastructure and developer environments and take part in incident resolution

What you need

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, platform engineering or SRE
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation, and working knowledge of Git
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience with at least one programming or scripting language
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and basic Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication and documentation skills
