Microchip's Secure Computing Products Group designs hardware embedded controller solutions, and this Chennai role is part of the digital logic design effort. The verification engineer owns verification of complex blocks and subsystems in ARM-based SoCs. What you'll do
- Own verification of complex blocks and subsystems within ARM-based SoCs
- Define test plans from design specifications and implement constrained-random and directed tests
- Develop test environments using SystemVerilog and UVM
- Create test cases, launch regressions and analyze code/functional coverage
- Debug RTL and testbench issues and work with design teams to resolve bugs
- Contribute to AI/automation initiatives for regression, coverage and debug
What you need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in ASIC/SoC functional verification
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Understanding of AMBA, USB, I2C, SPI and eSPI protocols
- Scripting in Python/TCL/Perl and programming in C/C++
- Good communication, analytical and debugging skills
