About this role

NCR Voyix provides commerce technology and payments for retailers and restaurants. The Global Command Center in Hyderabad monitors business-critical applications and infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. As an SRE I, you give first-level response to alerts and incidents and handle routine reliability work such as patching, certificate management and deployments. You work with application, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps and network teams. The role suits graduates with 0-2 years in production support, NOC or infrastructure operations who can work 24x7 shifts.

What you'll do

  • Monitor applications, infrastructure and cloud services for availability and performance
  • Triage alerts and events, do initial troubleshooting and escalate when needed
  • Provide L1 production support and join incident response
  • Patch servers and perform routine maintenance across Azure, GCP, AWS, VMware, Windows and Linux
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificate renewal and installation, and run application deployments
  • Automate repetitive tasks and maintain runbooks and documentation

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years in event management, production support, SRE, NOC, DevOps or infrastructure operations
  • Working knowledge of Azure, GCP and/or AWS
  • Understanding of monitoring, incident management, server administration, networking and SSL/TLS
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment
