What you'll do

  • Conduct manual and automated security testing of web, mobile (Android/iOS) and thick client applications
  • Perform secure code reviews using manual techniques and tools like Semgrep integrated into CI/CD
  • Review product features early in development and give risk-based recommendations
  • Facilitate threat modelling and architecture reviews with product and engineering teams
  • Work with Incident Response and Bug Bounty teams on externally reported issues and root cause analysis of P0/P1 bugs
  • Advise developers and stakeholders and help define scalable security controls

What you need

  • 2 to 8 years of experience in application or product security
  • Penetration testing and manual source code review experience (mandatory)
  • Web, mobile and thick client security testing expertise
  • Proficiency with languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, Python, C#/.NET
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, secure storage and cryptography
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Good to have: CI/CD security automation, container and cloud security, and certifications such as OSWE, OSCP or GWAPT
