What you'll do
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins and CTEs, for data extraction and transformation
- Ensure business logic and data quality checks work correctly in ADF and Databricks pipelines
- Troubleshoot data issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Track system performance to deliver data on time within SLAs
- Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and release handover
- Provide support during shift hours in EST time zones and maintain documentation
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering or ETL
- Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification
- Skills in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, SQL and Python/PySpark
- Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting in production environments
- Strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
- Databricks certifications are highly desirable
