About this role
This role is a first-level IT support position at Unisys in Bangalore. The analyst is the first point of contact for end users and handles incidents and service requests by phone, email, chat and ticketing tools. Day to day, it involves troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, Microsoft 365 and basic network problems while meeting SLAs. Unresolved issues are escalated to Level 2 or Level 3 teams. It suits someone with some service desk or desktop support experience and a customer-focused attitude. The work may involve rotating morning, evening or night shifts.

What you'll do
- Act as first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, chat and ticketing systems
- Log, categorize, prioritize and track incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot hardware, Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and basic network issues
- Reset passwords and manage user accounts in Active Directory or similar tools
- Escalate unresolved incidents to Level 2/Level 3 teams and document resolutions
- Follow ITIL processes and resolve tickets within SLAs
What you need
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and basic Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of Active Directory and password management
- Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy or Jira
- 1-3 years of experience in service desk, technical support, desktop support or IT operations support
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Microsoft certifications are an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts (45 hours per week)
