Key findings
- 843 verified IT openings for freshers and early-career engineers were listed on Hirastra between 26 Sep 2026 and 3 Nov 2026, from 398 companies.
- 17% were internships. Of the full-time roles, 22% were open to freshers with no experience, 28% asked for about one year, and 50% for two years or more.
- Openings close fast: of the 281 that companies took down themselves, half were gone within 2 days of being listed; across all 486 closed openings, half lasted 5 days or less.
- The most requested skills were Python (46% of postings), SQL (28% of postings), Java (19% of postings), AWS (12% of postings), REST APIs (10% of postings).
- The most openings were in Bengaluru (375), Pune (115), Hyderabad (113); 31 were remote or work from home.
