In short: Hirastra checks the official careers pages of 1,300+ companies every day, publishes only openings it can confirm on the company's own posting, states who can apply in one line, and removes openings when they close. Right now 357 openings are live; 486 earlier ones have been closed.

1. Where openings come from

2. What we check before publishing

  1. The posting is live on the company's own page (or the official hiring platform it uses).
  2. It is in India, or remote and open to candidates in India.
  3. It is an IT or tech role: software, data, AI/ML, cloud, testing, security, hardware/embedded, IT support.
  4. It suits freshers or early-career engineers: internships, graduate programmes, or a minimum of about two years' experience or less. Senior roles are left out.
  5. It passes a legitimacy check: an identifiable employer, a concrete role, applications that go to the company, no fee or deposit, believable pay.

3. What each listing tells you

4. How closed jobs are removed

Every morning each live apply link is re-opened. A job closes when the company's page is gone (HTTP 404/410) or says it's no longer accepting applications, when its stated last date passes, or 14 days after listing. Visitors can also report a broken link from any job page. Closed jobs disappear from every list, the sitemap's job results and Google's job data; their page stays, marked Closed, with similar open roles.

5. The free ATS resume checker

The ATS checker runs entirely in your browser; resumes are never uploaded. Its scoring follows how applicant tracking systems actually work, documented in our guide How ATS software really screens fresher resumes.

6. Corrections

Found a wrong detail or a closed job? Use “Apply link not working?” on the job page or write to contact@hirastra.com. Employers can ask for changes the same way.

Questions

Where do Hirastra's jobs come from?

From the official careers pages of 1,300+ companies (their own Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Keka, Darwinbox and similar job boards), plus links shared by recruiters and students. We don't copy listings from other job portals.

What does 'verified' mean?

Before an opening is published we open the company's own posting and check it is live, in India (or remote for India), an IT or tech role, and open to freshers or engineers whose minimum required experience is about two years or less. Openings that ask for a fee, send you to a different company's form, or can't be confirmed on the official page are not published.

How do you know who can apply?

Each listing shows one line taken from the posting: the graduating batch it names (for example "2026 batch · Freshers"), or the years of experience it asks for ("0–1 yrs", "2–3 yrs exp"), or "Students" for internships. If the posting doesn't say, the listing says "yrs not stated" instead of guessing.

Are the salaries official?

Only when the company publishes a figure. Anything marked Est. is Hirastra's estimate for that company, role, level and city, based on market data, and is labelled as an estimate everywhere it appears.

How do you remove closed jobs?

Every morning we re-open each live apply link. A job is closed when the company's page is gone or says it is no longer accepting applications, when its stated last date passes, or 14 days after we listed it. Closed jobs leave every list and Google's job results; their own page stays with a Closed notice and similar open roles.

Does Hirastra charge students or accept money to list jobs?

No. Hirastra never charges job seekers, and listings are not paid placements. Genuine employers never ask candidates for a fee.
