What you'll do

  • Plan, monitor and carry out application development tasks, including new products and modifications
  • Provide technical support for testing, installation, commissioning, debugging and diagnostics
  • Turn conceptual designs into detailed engineering documents using modelling, prototyping, simulation and calculations
  • Help prepare engineering proposals and presentations
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues while following organizational standards

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation or related)
  • 1-3 years of application development and support experience
  • Understanding of industrial automation systems such as PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotics
  • Experience building lasting customer relationships
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a global team
  • Willingness to travel for site support and commissioning
