About this role
This is a roughly 6-month Cybersecurity Intern role in the Digital Security department at Airbus India in Bengaluru, ideally starting January 2027 with flexibility on dates. The intern supports day-to-day security operations and helps track risks across enterprise IT systems. The work also involves supporting compliance reviews, security best practices, and preparing reports and dashboards for different functional groups. A tutor guides the intern's objectives and skill development. It suits students in computer science, IT or cybersecurity who want exposure to enterprise security and risk management.

What you'll do
- Assist in day-to-day cybersecurity operations and monitor security events
- Support risk identification across enterprise IT systems
- Work with internal teams to track risk mitigation activities and support compliance reviews
- Help implement core security best practices
- Support creation of security reports, dashboards and documentation
What you need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related technical field
- Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Basic awareness of IT security principles, risk management and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
- Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI) or scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
