About this role

This role is in AWS Infrastructure Services, in the team that monitors and services data center infrastructure remotely from a central location in Maharashtra. The technician troubleshoots server, network and telecom equipment, coordinates on-site hands and eyes support, and helps resolve facility issues. Work also includes site improvement projects and guiding vendors on AWS standards. The role runs on a 24x7 shift rotation.

What you'll do

  • Remotely troubleshoot network and compute infrastructure at sites
  • Triage and repair server and network hardware with on-ground support
  • Coordinate resolution of data center facility issues
  • Create change management tasks for site maintenance
  • Assist in root cause analysis and first-level troubleshooting of facility and rack events
  • Guide vendors on AWS standards and support site improvement projects

What you need

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Willingness to work 24x7 shift rotation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
