What you'll do

  • Develop, integrate and bring up display kernel drivers on DRM/KMS (CRTC, planes, connectors, atomic modesetting)
  • Build and maintain V4L2-based display and video pipeline drivers
  • Implement and extend Linux kernel modules for Display Processing Units
  • Drive HDR/SDR conversion, tone mapping and 8/10/12-bit colour depth support
  • Enable and optimise bootsplash for a flicker-free boot
  • Debug display issues and work with SoC/silicon vendors on bring-up and defects

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with DRM/KMS including CRTC configuration, plane management, connector setup and atomic modesetting
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Experience in automating, deploying and supporting infrastructure
  • Preferred: V4L2 knowledge, HDR10/HLG and colour depth understanding, CI/CD experience
  • Preferred: minimum 1 year with Linux kernel display subsystem or embedded display driver development
