What you'll do

  • Design, develop and deliver features for aviation or enterprise systems with team members
  • Write maintainable code and unit tests, and take part in code reviews
  • Estimate user stories and join sprint planning, backlog refinement and daily standups
  • Troubleshoot issues in development, QA and production by analysing logs and data
  • Work with the Product Owner and QA so code meets acceptance criteria and automated tests
  • Run small experiments or proofs of concept and support process and pipeline improvements

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience developing full-stack modules for enterprise applications
  • Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, microservices and RESTful web services
  • Frontend skills in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery and JavaScript; exposure to Angular or React
  • Unit testing with JUnit; practical SQL skills with MS SQL or another relational database
  • Familiarity with Git and Maven; employer will not sponsor employment visas
