What you'll do

  • Assist in building, testing and maintaining data pipelines using Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks or Fabric
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, cleansing and loading from structured, semi-structured and unstructured sources
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and basic transformation scripts
  • Implement data quality checks, validation rules and pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with analysts, BI developers, data scientists and stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets
  • Document data flows, pipeline logic, data mappings and technical specifications

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience; freshers considered with relevant projects, internships or hands-on training in Microsoft data technologies
  • Basic to intermediate SQL, relational database and database design knowledge
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakes and data modeling fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of Azure data services such as Data Factory, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Synapse, Databricks or Fabric
  • At least one relevant Microsoft certification or training (such as DP-900) before joining or within the eligibility window set by the organization
