About this role

Illumina Digital Services supports the company's technology and business teams with enterprise data, reporting and systems. The Associate Business Systems Analyst turns business needs and enterprise data into automated reports, analytics and system solutions. Day to day, the person gathers requirements, pulls data from applications, APIs and databases, checks its accuracy, and recommends process improvements. They work with program managers, engineers, analysts and business stakeholders across locations. The role suits recent graduates or early-career professionals who like data, problem solving and process improvement. It is based at the Manyata office in Bengaluru, at least three days a week.

What you'll do

  • Build, maintain and improve automated reporting and analytics solutions
  • Gather business requirements and turn them into reporting, process and system solutions
  • Integrate and analyze data from enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms and files
  • Validate, reconcile and test data to keep reports accurate
  • Identify process or system gaps and recommend improvements
  • Document requirements, test solutions and share insights with cross-functional teams
  • Use AI-assisted tools responsibly while protecting quality, security and privacy

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience, including academic projects, internships or hackathons
  • Foundational SQL and data-analysis skills, with exposure to Python
  • Basic understanding of business analysis, requirements gathering, reporting or process mapping
  • Ability to organize information, spot trends and communicate findings clearly
  • Able to work from the Bengaluru Manyata office at least three days per week
