About this role

This is a paid, temporary internship in Electronic Arts' Central Technology group in Hyderabad, run on a hybrid work model. Central Technology builds the platforms, AI-driven tools, live services and infrastructure used across EA. The intern works where full-stack web development meets generative AI, building agentic workflows and LLM integrations alongside front-end and back-end code. The role reports to a Senior Engineering Manager. It suits computer science students who have done some project work with machine learning or LLM tools and want to build web applications.

What you'll do

  • Implement agentic workflows, tool-calling and LLM integrations using frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI APIs and custom model endpoints
  • Explore new generative AI tools, model optimization techniques and AI-assisted coding practices to improve team productivity and platform capabilities
  • Develop responsive front-end components using React and TypeScript
  • Build back-end APIs using Node.js or Python/FastAPI

What you need

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
  • Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented/functional programming and software design principles
  • Proficiency in at least one modern web stack (e.g. React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3) and one backend language (e.g. Python, Node.js or Java)
  • Hands-on academic or project experience with machine learning, LLM APIs or generative AI tools
  • Familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs and basic database design (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Curiosity to learn new technologies
