About this role

Lilly's Bengaluru commercial function supports customer-facing teams worldwide. The Customer Insights & Analytics team partners with its US counterpart to give brand and market research teams data, analytics and insights. The intern builds governed datasets in Databricks, produces analyses across the commercial value chain and maintains Power BI dashboards. The role also involves using generative AI tools to speed up reporting. It suits quantitative graduates with SQL and visualization skills.

What you'll do

  • Build governed datasets from commercial data sources in Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Deliver analyses on patient journey, segmentation, targeting, channel spend and persistency
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports on brand performance and launch tracking
  • Query metric views using SQL and Python in Databricks notebooks
  • Use generative AI tools to automate routine reporting and summarize data
  • Take part in stakeholder meetings and present recommendations

What you need

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Science from a Tier-I institute
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Preferred: SQL, Power BI and AWS on Databricks knowledge
  • Good communication, presentation and stakeholder skills
