Equifax BusinessConnect is a Salesforce managed package application, and this role is its key technical support resource in Pune. The engineer owns client support requests from intake to resolution, working within SLAs for high-urgency issues. Work includes fixing production defects with Apex, LWC and Flows, analysing API logs, doing root cause analysis, and pulling data for client requests. The person also turns defects into Jira user stories, updates clients, and reports on support trends. The schedule extends outside standard India hours and weekends, with mandatory rotational on-call, and it suits experienced Salesforce developers comfortable under pressure.

What you'll do

  • Own client support incidents from intake and triage through final resolution
  • Design, test and deploy hotfixes using Apex, LWC and Salesforce Flows
  • Diagnose integration issues by analysing XML, JSON and REST/SOAP logs
  • Perform root cause analysis using Debug Logs, Developer Console and browser tools
  • Handle ServiceNow ticket intake and write Jira user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Monitor SLAs, send weekly status reports and manage user provisioning and licenses

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, MIS or Mathematics preferred)
  • Current Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Current Salesforce Certified Administrator with 2+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of Apex experience including debugging and test classes
  • Strong SOQL and knowledge of asynchronous processing (Future, Queueable, Batch, Schedulable)
  • Strong communication skills and prior technical support experience
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, weekends and rotational on-call
