About this role

Fluence provides energy storage and optimization software for renewables and battery energy storage systems (BESS). This internship is in the Engineering/R&D team in Bangalore and lasts 3 to 6 months. The intern learns how products are validated and delivered in a continuous delivery setup. Day to day, that means helping run and maintain automated tests, supporting CI/CD and looking into defects. It suits BE/B.Tech students in computer science or electrical and electronics fields who are interested in software quality and AI tools.

What you'll do

  • Learn the tools and engineering practices used to design, develop, validate and deliver Fluence products
  • Contribute to automating product validation and quality assurance activities
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
  • Help run and maintain automated test suites
  • Take part in troubleshooting, defect analysis and quality improvement work
  • Work with developers, quality engineers and product teams

What you need

  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Currently pursuing or planning to pursue M.Tech in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of SQL databases
  • Basic understanding of how Large Language Models work
  • Exposure to tools like Jira, Git or Postman
  • Academic or personal projects in AI/ML, IoT or renewable energy
