Day to day, the engineer works on infrastructure as code with EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform and Golang, and on platform observability covering logs, metrics and traces. They also build platform services in Java and Spring Boot for developer experience, authentication and authorization. What you'll do

  • Develop the multi-tenant cloud platform that runs Guidewire applications and services
  • Design and build GWCP/ATMOS infrastructure as code using EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform and Golang
  • Handle platform observability: logs, metrics and traces
  • Build platform services for developer experience, authentication and authorization using Java and Spring Boot
  • Write code with test-driven development and automated tests
  • Deploy containerized applications to AWS through CI/CD pipelines

What you need

  • 2-4 years of work experience in a SaaS/PaaS environment for large-scale enterprise
  • Strong programming and software development skills in Java, Golang, Python or equivalent
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker or equivalent in a cloud ecosystem
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Java and Spring Boot programming skills with the Linux ecosystem
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure or serverless, and willingness to apply AI in the role
