About this role

This entry-level full-stack role is on JLL's Martech Intelligence Pod, which maintains customer-facing websites. The engineer works on both frontend and backend code, starting with small, well-scoped tasks and taking on more over time. Senior engineers mentor them through requirements, coding, testing, debugging and deployment. There is also dedicated time to experiment with AI tools, LLM APIs and agents and build small proofs of concept. It suits recent graduates or people with up to two years of experience who are curious and want to learn.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and improve customer-facing websites across frontend and backend
  • Write frontend components and backend services on well-scoped tasks
  • Test, debug and deploy code to production with mentoring from senior engineers
  • Experiment with AI tools and LLM APIs and build small proofs of concept
  • Document decisions and communicate progress and blockers

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent bootcamp/self-taught experience with a portfolio
  • 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience, or a recent graduate
  • Hands-on coding experience in C# or Java
  • Some experience with React and TypeScript, or eagerness to learn them
  • Basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, object-oriented programming, SQL and Git
  • Proficient written and spoken English for a remote, asynchronous environment
