This is a data science internship at Microsoft in India. What you'll do
- Formulate approaches to problems using well-defined algorithms and data sources
- Use data exploration to discover new questions or opportunities and note the limits of the data
- Interpret analysis results, validate the approach, and monitor and iterate to improve
- Present clear, actionable insights to peer stakeholders to influence product and service improvements
- Take part in peer review and act on feedback
- Learn new methods, algorithms and tools to increase the impact of results
What you need
- Currently pursuing a Master's or Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining after the internship ends
