About this role

NCR Voyix builds commerce platforms and payments services for retailers and restaurants. What you'll do

  • Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure and applications using SRE practices
  • Automate operational tasks to cut manual toil
  • Monitor system health, performance and availability, and troubleshoot issues proactively
  • Take part in on-call rotations for 24/7 production support and resolve incidents
  • Run post-incident reviews (RCAs) and put preventative measures in place
  • Maintain infrastructure as code and document procedures and troubleshooting guides

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-2 years in SRE, DevOps or a similar cloud-native role
  • Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, Go or Bash
  • Experience with a public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and its core services
  • Understanding of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets), Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD and monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking and system administration, plus good communication skills
