About this role

This QA automation role validates that platform by writing automated functional, regression and performance tests against real and simulated network traffic. What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for firewall features such as policy evaluation, NAT, stateful sessions and traffic filtering
  • Build and maintain test topologies and lab environments using VMs, containers and physical appliances
  • Generate network traffic and verify firewall behavior against expected policy outcomes
  • Run tests in CI, triage failures and file reproducible defect reports with packet captures and logs
  • Contribute to test plans and test-case design, and support performance and scale testing
  • Work with developers to improve testability and explore AI-assisted test tooling

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
  • 2-4 years of professional QA automation or test engineering experience, preferably in networking or security products
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting, Linux command-line comfort and daily Git use
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, NAT and routing, plus firewall fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with iptables/nftables, conntrack and iproute2, and with Wireshark, tshark or tcpdump
  • Experience with pytest or Robot Framework, REST API testing, and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
