About this role
NICE builds software for customer experience, financial crime prevention and public safety. This Pune-based role is in the CX engineering team under a Tech Manager and focuses on quality for web applications. The engineer does manual and automated end-to-end testing, builds and maintains Playwright-style automation frameworks, and uses AI tools to speed up automation. Work also includes adding accessibility checks to CI/CD pipelines and logging defects in tools like JIRA. It suits QA automation engineers with a few years of UI testing experience. The hybrid model is 2 office days and 3 remote days a week.

What you'll do
- Run end-to-end testing of web applications, both manual and automated
- Develop, enhance and maintain automation frameworks
- Create and run automated E2E test cases, including test data generation
- Integrate automated accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines
- Document defects clearly with screenshots in a test management system such as JIRA
- Maintain automation infrastructure and follow SDLC and QA best practices
What you need
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field
- 2–4 years of IT experience as an Automation QA Engineer, with 2+ years in UI automation
- Proficiency with Playwright or an equivalent UI testing tool
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Java or JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and with Agile environments
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
- Strong written and verbal English communication
