Professional Services Engineer, Actimize
About this role
NiCE's Actimize Professional Services team in Pune implements, customises, supports and deploys cloud-based Actimize solutions for financial services customers, focused on financial crime and compliance. The role is hands-on technical work, configuring and customising the product, writing SQL and Java components, and testing changes. The engineer works with architects, senior engineers and customer stakeholders, and helps resolve implementation and production issues. Work is hybrid, with two office days and three remote days each week. It suits people with 2-4 years of experience in implementation, technical services or application support who are strong in SQL.

What you'll do
- Analyse customer requirements and help assess technical feasibility
- Configure and customise NICE Actimize solutions for client needs
- Develop solution components using SQL, Java and Actimize tools
- Help integrate Actimize with customer and downstream systems
- Run functional and technical tests and support deployments across dev, test and production
- Do root cause analysis on implementation and production issues
- Take part in code reviews and write documentation such as design notes, SOPs and runbooks
What you need
- 2–4 years of experience in SDLC, implementation, technical services or application support
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective spoken and written English
- Willingness to learn new platforms, tools and domains
