About this role

PATH is a global nonprofit working on health equity, and this internship is with its Digital Health, AI & MedTech team in the New Delhi country office. The team works with many stakeholders on digital health solutions used in the field across India. The intern supports research, technology solution design and development, software testing, and the writing of technical proposals and reports. It is a three-month full-time internship with 3 positions, and hiring is on a rolling basis. It suits graduates or master's students interested in digital health, AI and software development.

What you'll do

  • Carry out technical research and landscape assessments on digital health, AI, health technology and interoperability solutions
  • Support design and development of web applications, dashboards, AI-enabled applications and health information systems
  • Contribute to system architecture and solution design, including data flows, databases, APIs and integration
  • Support software testing, UAT, quality assurance and issue tracking
  • Support AI/ML and data-driven solutions such as NLP, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search and analytics
  • Help prepare technical proposals, concept notes and donor submissions

What you need

  • Completed graduation; those pursuing or having completed a master's (MCA/M.Tech/MBA/MPH/MHA or similar) are also eligible
  • Exposure to AI/ML, NLP, data analytics, digital public infrastructure and digital health standards
  • Experience in digital health solution design, software or web application development and systems integration
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills; legal authorization to work in India
