About this role
RSM US Integrated Services India supports RSM's professional services business, and this role sits on its Customer Support team in Kolkata. The IT Support Tech maintains and supports PCs, printers, servers and related equipment. Day to day it involves level 2 end-user support, setting up PCs for new employees, working through service desk tickets and supporting firm software. What you'll do
- Monitor and respond to service desk tickets and document notes for escalation or resolution
- Set up and deploy PCs for new employees and train them on equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware, connection and software issues and manage Active Directory assignments
- Coordinate PC hardware repairs and inventory with vendors
- Set up and maintain network printers and scanners and support file and print servers
- Help with projects, legal hold procedures and other assigned duties
What you need
- High school diploma or GED (bachelor's degree preferred)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service
- Working knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, MS Office, Active Directory and PC hardware
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with employees at all levels
