What you'll do

  • Help design and program MATLAB and Python functions for automated reporting and controller validation workflows
  • Test and validate new and existing software tools for functionality and reliability
  • Debug and improve tools with engineers based on user feedback and project needs
  • Implement and improve automated build, test and CI/CD procedures
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as user guides and development notes
  • Support data analysis reports, technical presentations and controller certification documents

What you need

  • Currently pursuing B.Tech (3rd/4th year) or M.Tech (1st year) in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a related engineering discipline
  • No prior professional experience required; academic or personal project experience in relevant programming languages is valued
  • Good Python, MATLAB and LaTeX programming skills
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software testing
  • Experience with version control (Git or Mercurial) and agile tools such as Jira
  • Experience with CI pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory)
  • Problem-solving, collaboration and good written and spoken communication skills
