Wavexcel is an IT services and consulting company that builds technology solutions for client business problems. The Forward Deployed Engineer Intern works with engineering and business teams to turn client requirements into prototypes and working software. The work covers API and enterprise system integration, data handling, AI-powered features, deployment, debugging and support. The role is based in Sector 49, Gurugram, and runs for 6 months, with possible full-time conversion based on performance. It suits a fresher with solid programming fundamentals who is comfortable talking to both technical and non-technical people.

What you'll do

  • Understand client requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions
  • Develop, test and deploy software and AI-powered solutions, including POCs and prototypes
  • Work with REST APIs, databases, third-party integrations and enterprise systems
  • Handle data extraction, transformation, mapping and validation
  • Assist with cloud and on-premise deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting and support
  • Document solutions, APIs, configurations and deployment processes

What you need

  • Strong programming fundamentals in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or C#
  • Good understanding of OOP, data structures and software development fundamentals
  • Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP, and basic SQL and databases
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
