What you'll do
- Work on user tickets and requests, perform application health checks and report status
- Collaborate with development and technology partner teams to restore applications during outages and perform root cause analysis
- Review and analyse technical queries to extract data and fine-tune supported systems
- Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
- Handle change, problem and release management
- Ensure BCP readiness and backup/recovery implementation
- Work in shifts and provide weekend support
What you need
- 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent through work, training, military experience or education
- Desired: University degree (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA) in Technology
- Desired: Hands-on experience in MSBI, .NET, .NET Web services and SQL Server
- Desired: Hands-on experience with Solace / MQ messaging
- Desired: Exposure to App Dynamics, Grafana, Splunk, BMC Remedy, ITRS Geneos, Autosys and JIRA
- Desired: Prior experience of SRE framework, toil reduction, and building SLOs and SLAs
