LinkedIn job search tricks for freshers: filters, Boolean strings and hiring posts
Five ways to find fresher jobs on LinkedIn early and apply before the crowd: filters, a Boolean search, hiring-post search, a message to the hiring team and a cross-check against verified openings.

Filter for the first 24 hours
On LinkedIn Jobs, search your role, set Date posted to Past 24 hours and Experience level to Internship or Entry level. Tap Set alert and choose daily so new jobs reach you. Early applications are seen before the pile grows.
Use a Boolean search
Paste this into the Jobs search bar. AND, OR and NOT must be in capital letters. Swap in your own role words.
("software engineer" OR "software developer" OR SDE) AND (fresher OR "entry level" OR "2026 batch") NOT senior NOT leadSearch hiring posts, not just jobs
Search this phrase, tap Posts, then set Date posted to Past 24 hours. Apply only if the email is on the company's own domain. A gmail address or a WhatsApp-only route is a red flag.

On a job page, check the Meet the hiring team section (shown on some jobs). Apply first, then send a short note with two skills and one project. Keep it under 300 characters and ask for nothing else.
