Never pay to get hired
Real employers never charge a registration fee, security deposit, laptop charge, background check fee or paid training before joining. Paid certification packaged as a job is the same scam. If money moves from you, walk away.
Check the sender's e-mail
HR mails come from the company's own domain, not Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook. Watch for lookalike domains. Don't click the link in the mail: open the company website yourself and confirm the same role is on its careers page.
google: company name + careersAn offer without an interview is fake
Real hiring has at least one technical or HR round. Be careful with offers after a short WhatsApp chat, interviews held only on Telegram, pressure to pay today, or a fresher salary far above market from an unknown firm.
Verify the company
Look for a LinkedIn company page with real employees, and check that the recruiter works there. Make sure company name, website and city match everywhere. Then search for scam reports.
