About this role
This role is in Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management division, based at the BKC office in Mumbai. The Junior IT Business Analyst supports the writing and upkeep of functional requirements for software features and enhancements. Day to day, the person works with product owners, engineers, quality engineers and subject matter experts to gather and document requirements, and produces user stories, use cases and process flows. The work is done under the guidance of senior engineers and business analysts, with coordination across globally distributed teams in PST and IST time zones. It suits someone with some requirements experience who is detail-oriented and learns quickly.

What you'll do
- Create, review and maintain functional requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows and traceability documents
- Gather and validate business and user requirements with product owners, engineers, quality engineers and subject matter experts
- Perform assigned impact analyses, gap analyses and requirements evaluations, and share findings with stakeholders
- Take part in requirements reviews and clarify requirements for development and verification teams
- Help investigate proposed enhancements, defects and process improvements
- Coordinate with global team members across PST and IST time zones
What you need
- 2-3 years of experience supporting development, documentation and maintenance of business, system or software requirements
- Ability to elicit, analyze and document requirements with stakeholders
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work under senior guidance while completing assigned analyses independently
- Analytical thinking, organization and attention to detail
