What you'll do

  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines for reporting using Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow and Databricks
  • Manage data workflows, notebooks and jobs across cloud platforms and Databricks
  • Create and optimize SQL stored procedures, tables and views
  • Implement data quality checks and validation across pipeline stages
  • Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues and prevent recurrence
  • Support Power BI dashboards and document pipelines, workflows and data models

What you need

  • 2+ years of experience in a data engineering role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience with databases and platforms such as Azure SQL DB, Synapse, Redshift, MySQL, Databricks SQL/Delta Lake
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory, Airflow or Databricks workflows
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub; ability to work from Hyderabad office 2-3 days a week and overlap U.S. business hours
