Amazon

Business Analyst, Innovation Lab

About this role

The Innovation Lab at Amazon's BLR8 site in Bengaluru pilots new automation, such as autonomous mobile robots, automated packing equipment and in-house tools, before they roll out across Amazon's operations network. The Business Analyst builds the data platform, dashboards and reports that show whether each pilot is meeting its goals. Day to day, this means writing SQL queries, monitoring data jobs and alerts, and digging into the data to find root causes of defects. The analyst also prepares scorecards and review material for leadership. The role includes some hands-on pilot work on the floor, so it suits someone comfortable with both data analysis and operations.
